Skills Class: Dovetails
Dovetails are some of the most beautiful joints that can be made! Dovetails are a simple, easy to learn join, and require very few basic tools. However, many people do not know where to start. This class will be a walkthrough how to make dovetails with hand tools, and assembly of a basic Dovetail box. Included in the price of the class are your own Japanese pull saw and chisel to make dovetails. This is an excellent skill to have and develop!
The class will cost $80 and will include an S4S poplar to make your box with
— All materials, tools, hardware, and safety equipment are provided!
— Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. No loose clothing like baggy sleeves or scarves. Be sure to wear clothing you don't mind working in, you'll want to be comfortable and protected. We will get dusty!
