Maintenance and Repair for Homeowners

  • The Workshop in Steubenville 157 North 3rd Street Steubenville United States (map)

The average call for a plumber is $300. It's $200 for an electrician and $500 per day for a handyman—exclusive of materials. Most of what they do day-to-day can be handled by the average homeowner—if only you understood the anatomy of your own home. Now is your chance to figure out how your house works, to learn basic skills to fix it, and to avoid excessive and unnecessary bills.

During this one-week course in Steubenville, OH, students will learn all the essentials for maintaining a home. We’ll discuss how to maintain your HVAC system, fix minor plumbing problems, address common electrical issues (pairs well with the Electrical for Homeowners Course), maintain and adjust doors, repair holes in walls, and more.

Classes will run from 9am to 5pm each weekday and for one hour each day will feature a Theology of the Domestic Church class.

Because slots are limited, any cancellations more than 48 hours after registering will only be eligible for a 50% refund.

This class has a minimum enrollment. If we do not get enough registrations by the Monday two weeks prior to the beginning of the class, we reserve the right to cancel the class. If the class is cancelled we will fully refund all registrants.
