During this two-week course in Steubenville, OH, students will learn the basics of woodworking: various wood species and when to use them, safe use and maintenance of common tools, cuts and joinery methods, and finishing methods and materials.
This will be woodworking (as opposed to carpentry), with less focus on construction applications and more focus on how one might build a cabinet, furniture, or any wooden project. The class will consist of seven days of instruction plus three days of free shop time working on a project of the attendee’s choice.
Because slots are limited, any cancellations more than 48 hours after registering will only be eligible for a 50% refund.
This class has a minimum enrollment. If we do not get enough registrations by the Monday two weeks prior to the beginning of the class, we reserve the right to cancel the class. If the class is cancelled we will fully refund all registrants.
